The Justice and Labor Relations Ministry is currently in the process of looking at reforming the 150 year old labor laws in the country.

Minister of Justice and Labor Relations Wijedasa Rajapaksha says the new programme that is currently being worked out is scheduled to be implemented to amend the labor laws under six main areas.

The Minister further stated that special attention would also be paid to problems faced by the public due to the lapses in the out dated labor laws in the country.
