Former ministers, MPs summoned to Bribery Commission

The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption has summoned five former ministers and an MP with regard to its ongoing investigations.

Meanwhile, two fresh complaints have been filed against two ministers of the current government as well.

Former ministers Johnston Fernando, Reginald Cooray, Rohitha Abeygunawardena and Lakshman Wasantha Perera and MP Sajin Vass Gunawardena were summoned by the Commission.

Also, complaints have been lodged against ministers of the current government, Ministers Dr. Rajitha Senaratne and Rishard Bathiudeen.
