Japan’s Minister for Foreign Affairs to visit SL

State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan - Minoru Kiuchi will be arriving in Sri Lanka on Saturday 7th March 2015 to further strengthen the long-standing ties betweenJapan and Sri Lanka.

During his visit, Mr. Kiuchi will call on H. E. Mr. Maithripala Sirisena, President, andHon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, Prime Minister and Minister of Policy Planning, Economic Affairs, Child, Youth & Cultural Affairs as well as Hon. Mr. Mangala Samaraweera, Minister of External Affairs, to further develop cordial relations with the leaders of the new Government established after the Presidential Election on 8 January 2015 and to explore future avenues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

State Minister Kiuchi had previously visited Sri Lanka in his capacity as Japan’s Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs in September 2013.
