The prime minister’s office said in a statement that after the matter was raised by officials, the PM had summoned the justice minister and inquired from him with regard to the passport of the Avant Garde owner.
The premier noted that all those who aspire for a better political culture in the country want to eliminate corruption and fraud and to bring those responsible for such wrongdoing before the law.
He discouraged statements and acts that disrupt good governance and investigations into corruption and fraud.
