More exposure on Sajin’s airplane following SLM revelation Featured

Following the exposé made by 'Sri Lanka Mirror' about the unregistered cargo airplane owned by former supervising MP Sajin Vaas Gunawardena’s Cosmos Lanka, Sirasa Newsfirst yesterday (02) made further revelations.

According to latest reports received by 'Sri Lanka Mirror', this plane had been brought from Afghanistan.

Newsfirst quoted Cosmos Lanka’s website as saying they were running a cargo flight service between Sri Lanka and SAARC member countries, including India, in collaboration with SriLankan Airlines.

The type of airplane in question, worth more than two million dollars, has gone out of production now.

Branded Lankan Cargo, it is being parked at the SriLankan Airline owned parking facility at Katunayake for around a year now, says Newsfirst.

The parking fees is said to be around 4,000 dollars a month.
