The recruitments have been made without following the normal procedures.
Deputy Tourism Minister Wasantha Senanayake has reportedly said they had found out that nearly 100 persons mainly from the Gampaha district were recruited to the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotions Bureau by former Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa’s wife Pushpa Rajapaksa a month prior to the recently concluded Presidential election on January 8.
