He has told BBC Sandeshaya in London that speedy measures would be taken to either prosecute or release the suspects.
The minister has added that no charges have yet been made against 182 LTTE suspects being detained at Welikada Prison.
A committee headed by an additional solicitor general will make recommendations with regard to Jeyakumari Balendran and other LTTE suspects, says justice minister Wijedasa Rajapakse.
