Former minister Athauda Seneviratne today (11) pleaded guilty before courts over opposing a water project in Warakapola and causing damages to it.

After pleading guilty before the Thulhiriya Magistrate courts, the former minister has agreed to pay a compensation of Rs. 800,000 to the aggrieved party.

Accordingly, the court has decided to conclude the case.
