He said any move to dissolve the party has to be done by its Central Committee and that no such attempt has even been made.
He also added that any decision to disband the Party will not be a secret and will be made public.

The Jathika Hela Urumaya (JHU) has dismissed reports that the party was to be disbanded and its members absorbed into the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP), Party spokesman Nissanka Warnasinghe said.
