Dhanushka Ramanayake has been appointed as a working director and a member of the Board of Directors of the Independent Television Network (ITN).

The appointment was made by Media Minister Gayantha Karunatilleke.

Ramanayake was appointed Media secretary to Power and Energy minister Champika Ranawaka in 2010 and later served as Media secretary of the Research and Technology ministry in 2013 and 2014.
