The minister said that many parties were calling for the resignation of the CJ.
Charging that Peiris' conduct has caused damage to the honour and integrity of the office of Chief Justice, the Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) yet again demanded him to resign.
However, the CJ has said that if any problems existed with regard to the CJ, they should be revolved in a legal manner, the minister emphasises.
