Don't appoint corrupt officials - Lalkantha

The National Trade Union Centre (NTUC) has formally urged President Maithripala Sirisena not to appoint the corrupt officials in to the state institutes.

The letter by the NTUC chairman - K.D. Lalkantha claims that some appointments have already created disgrace among general public.

Urging the President to devote special attention to this matter, the NTUC urges to appoint officials in a more careful manner, as the public expects such officials to be honest and corruption free in line with the political change that has taken place in the country.
