The authorities are not supplying adequate quantities of raw material, artificial chemicals and low quality raw materials for Ayurvedic drug production with the aim of disrupting the production process.

 Sri Lanka Ayurvedic Corporation is manufacturing a variety of Ayurveda products such as medicinal oil, balms, toothpaste and various applications made from medicinal plants.    
This is the only state sponsored organization in Sri Lanka for the manufacture and sale of Ayurvedic drugs. The Corporation was established in 1969 by order under the industrial Corporations Act No. 49 of 1957 made by the then Minister of Industries and Fisheries.
