They were later produced before Colombo chief magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya and were ordered bail.

Earlier, the chief magistrate issued notice on the two as well as ex-defence secretary Gotabhaya Rajapkasa and a former additional secretary to the ministry to appear before court on September 30.

They are accused of causing a Rs. 11,400 million loss to the state through Avant Garde Maritime.
