There are no records about a sum of 2.5 million dollars given by Shangri-La to TPL Inter (Pvt.) Ltd. of Singapore that had given a bond for LOLC, reports say.

A top official of Shangri-La has told the FCID that they had given a total sum of five million dollars to TPL Inter.

Of that amount, 2.5 million dollars had been used to place the bond, but the balance money has gone missing.

It was TPL Inter that had given a bond for LOLC, of which Ishara Nanayakkara is the deputy chairman, on account of a Rs. 157.5 million loan obtained by Amtrad Holdings Ltd. from PABC.

TPL Inter is owned by Tiana, the wife of former supervising MP Sajin Vaas Gunawardena.
