Speaking at a media briefing in Colombo today (24), police media spokesperson - SSP Ajith Rohana said that the interdicted policemen is a police sergeant and a constable attached to a mobile service which was on duty when the incident had occured.
It was reported that an unidentified group arriving in Defender and a van around 11.30 last night had at several persons building the stage for common candidate Maithripala Sirisena's rally which is to be held at the Umagiriya grounds, Kolonnawa today (24).
