Sumathipala’s open promise was given yesterday (18) to a group of old Nalandians who gathered at Hilton Blue, Colombo to discuss the matter.
Countering allegations that he was protecting Jayasundara, the deputy speaker said,
Deputy speaker Thilanga Sumathipala has promised to take the lead to remove Wasantha Ranjith Jayasundara, principal of his alma mater Nalanda College, Colombo, who is accused of corruption.
