The CPRP requested the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial, Summary or Arbitrary Executions to take up the matter with the Sri Lankan government.
CPRP President, Attorney-at-law Senaka Perera said in the complaint that the killings were committed with impunity and that no arrest or prosecutions had followed in the three years since.
The CPRP Chairman further complained that the findings from the domestic inquiry has not been published and that there had been no relief provided to families of those killed or those injured.
