Speaking at a public rally in Kantale yesterday (18), he said that if Mahinda Rajapaksa is elected to power again, his removal would cause mass bloodshed.

Tamil masses' trust

Mahinda Rajapaksa has failed to ensure the trust of Tamil masses after concealing the crimes committed by powerful LTTE members such as Karuna Amman and Kumaran Pathmanadan from the public and whitewashing them instead, the JVP leader said.

Noting that the posters of the JVP meeting have been torn down by the military, the JVP leader further alleged that the President has politicised the military in order to establish his power.
