This follows a protest by around 300 area residents, who blocked the road in front of the Salawa Army camp and demanded justice and speedy renovation of their houses destroyed in the explosion in the camp.

Heavy traffic congestion is reported from the Kosgama-Pugoda road, which is also being used by long-distance buses.
