Speaking in parliament, MP Herath said that Air Force commander Gagan Bulathsinghala is also functioning as the Deputy President of the Nalanda College development committee.

The Principal is working according to his own whims, even disregarding reports of independently functioning auditors, the JVP propaganda secretary says.

He further charges that the Nalanda Junior Old Boys Association (NJOBA) has obtained money from parents when admitting their children to the school.

He says that the Principal too, is aware of this.
