Another landslide in Aranayake

Another landslide has been reported from the Aranayake area, earlier this afternoon (May 21).

Reports say that the landslide had occurred between the Kabaragama Kanda and Matalagala Kanda.

Information regarding the incident is yet to be received, a DMC spokesman said.

Speaking, Military Spokesperson Brigadier Jayanath Jayaweera said a team has been sent to the site.

Police warn public against going to the site due to the adverse weather conditions.
