President Mahinda Rajapaksa was compelled to halt his speech midway at the public rally in Dambulla last evening (13), due to a commotion caused by a group of drunk persons, reports say.
A heavily drunk person among the group had continuously interrupted the speech and an angered President had halted his speech midway before departing from the stage.
It has been revealed that the heavily drunk person is a son of a UPFA provincial politician.
