As usual, many political rallies and programmes around the country will be held to commemorate May Day.

However. the weekend newspaper ’Sath Handa’ wishes to mark the Day on a different perspective, by appreciating mothers who work with tirelessly for hours everyday with no work demands or holidays, usually ending up unappreciated or valued.

The ’Sath Handa’ urges its readers to salute and give value to such labour by tying the red band handed with this week’s publication, on their hands or around their heads.
