Arivamuhan alias Kalayan, a recent returnee from India, was kidnapped on April 26 near the Human Rights Commission Trincomalee office, says A. Sittira in a complaint.
Rehabilitated by the previous government, he had moved to 109/1, Channel Street, Trincomalee from Alankerni in Kinniya.
Two days prior to his abduction, a group had gone to their home and inquired about him.
He had been on his way to the HRC office together with his wife to lodge a complaint, when he was kidnapped, according to a written complaint by Sittira to the commission.
Meanwhile, LTTE ‘Charles Anthony brigade’ leader Nagulan has been arrested in Jaffna.
