Disney's latest animated feature - Zootopia broke records last week as audiences worldwide pushed the movie into pushing “Frozen,” to second place in opening weekend success.
Zootopia opened in the US with an estimated $73.7 million domestic box office take. The previous three-day record held by Frozen was $67.4 million.
It has also set records as the biggest-ever opening for Disney Animation in multiple locations, including China, Germany, India and Russia.
“Zootopia” is a city of animals. The movie stars a bunny rabbit police officerand a fox criminal who team up to find a missing otter. He is among several animals that have suddenly disappeared from the city.
