Apple launches Rose Gold Macbook

Apple launches Rose Gold Macbook

For everyone who’s dreamed of a pink laptop, it’s finally here! Apple has upgraded its thinnest laptop, the 12-inch MacBook, with a new processor to make it faster and extend its battery life, the tech company announced on its website on Tuesday, April 19.

It also may be the prettiest laptop ever created, because it comes in a brand-new rose gold finish much like the rose gold iPhones, iPad and Watches already on the market. If you’re more into the classic colors, the laptop also comes in the standard trio of gold, silver and space-gray finishes.

The updated version is perfect for a full day of use with its extra hour of battery life, now allowing up to 10 hours of wireless web browsing for your work needs or 11 hours of iTunes movie playback for a long road trip or flight.

Weighing just 2 pounds and with a width of 13.1 millimeters, the MacBook makes graphics display 25 percent faster than the old models due to its upgraded processor, and better flash storage makes just about every click happen faster, whether you’re opening a file or launching Safari to binge-watch Netflix. It’s also completely silent with no annoying fan, vents or moving parts.

Prices start at $1,299, and the new MacBooks are available on Apple.com on Tuesday, April 19, and in Apple retail stores starting Wednesday, April 20.
