Skeleton flowers

Usually, delicate petals of a flower are fatally harmed by the weight of raindrops that they turn transparent are ruined.

Not the “skeleton flower” however.

The Skeleton flower (diphylleia grayi) is a white delicate flower, Diphylleia grayi grows in parts of Asia and North America.

During rain, the flower turns transparent showing a tiny petal skeleton.

However, the rain doesn’t damage the flower at all, as it goes back to white when dry.
