World football governing body (FIFA) president Sepp Blatter expressed his dissatisfaction over the progress of the game in Sri Lanka over the recent past as he ended a short tour of the island where he commissioned a new venue in Jaffnaa among other functions.

Blatter made the remarks at a Press conference after attending a symposium to mark the 75th anniversary of the Football Federation of Sri Lanka on Tuesday at the Taj Samudra Hotel in Colombo.

He however noted that work undertaken to develop the sport would bear results in the future.
