Interest in the match has been rife all over the world, while teams have undergone practice matches under lights to get to grips with the new pink ball.
The ball is the result of years of developments for the sole purpose of use in day-night matches.
The third and final Test between Australia and New Zealand will be the first to be played under floodlights using a pink ball. Australia lead the series 1-0.
