The 14 sportswomen from Lytham St Annes Hockey Club, in Lancashire, bared all for the shots, which show them playing in the buff to raise funds for the Lytham Sports Foundation.

The ladies, who compete in the first and second teams, can be seen practicing their drills wearing only their pants, whilst other pictures show them starkers in the club house.

Georgia Perkins, who plays for the Lytham Ladies first team, came up with the idea to raise money for The Lytham Sports Foundation, which was set up by her father and helps generate sport in the community.

She said: 'All the women were rather shocked when I first told them about my idea, but were very excited to take part and I'm very proud of them all.

'It was quite tricky at times because a hockey stick doesn't really cover very much up, but it was great fun.

'It was absolutely freezing when we were doing the shoot and we all had to wear dressing gowns between takes.

'I had to have an hour's bath afterwards to warm up.

'The calendar has already received a huge amount of interest and hundreds of likes on our Facebook page.'
