Y G Amila secured fourth in the Kg 60 weight category while Ranil Sampath was placed sixth in the Kg 65 weight category.

Seventy-two countries participated in the event this year.

However, the Sri Lankan team participated in the tournament without any officials or coaches.

The officials and coaches were unable to accompany the team as the Ministry of Sports ignored to provide tickets for the officials.

Commenting on this regard the sports critiques state that the Sport Minister's assistance is provided only for thieves.

The Sri Lankan contingent will arrive in Sri Lanka on Tuesday morning.
