In the video below, Le Car dons a cocktail dress, earrings and a pair of heels before she dives into the ocean with her board. The 23-year-old makes her moves look easy and totally badass at the same time.

The clip may be an ad for mosquito repellant company Para'Kito, one of Le Car's sponsors; their tagline "naturally free" closes the video.

Le Car is ranked number 15 in the world and has won 7 surf heats this year, according to the World Surf League.

In an interview with Volcom, Le Car described her passion for surfing as a dream come true and said: 'I always wanted to be a pro surfer and I work so hard for it so I am proud today to be living my dreams.'

Le Car has given other surfers a run for their money, but she was not the first to attempt wearing her evening heels in the ocean.

A group of three Russian surfers were seen in their best heels competing in Bali in 2013.

The competition was held in Kuta Beach and created a lasting trend among female surfers.
