Sangakkara’s verified account claimed that the account was hacked and it has to be reset. 

Sangakkara, who is currently in England playing county cricket for his side Surrey, was taking part in a county game against Derbyshire when the incident occurred yesterday.

The hack became apparent after an inappropriate image was shared via the account.

“Guys my twitter account has been hacked. I need to reset my account. It’s unbelievable. Apologies. In the middle of a county game” Sangakkara Tweeted a short while ago.
