The BWF has handed over a letter to the SLBA chairman today (22) on this regard.

Confirming the report, Director General of the Department of Sports Development, K.D.S. Ruwanchandra said to media that the membership had been suspended due to two reasons, including the constitution of the local body not complying with that of the BWF.

The membership will not be restored until the issues are settled, he added.
