According to reports reaching Sri Lanka Mirror, the Pakistanis had been practicing for today’s day-night game, when suddenly lights went out after around 1 ½ hours at the grounds.

That is because the engineer had instructed the stadium staff to switch off one of the two generators, each having capacity to supply power for around 1 ½ hours.
