The coach, who is well known for introducing women to players, had introduced this actress to two prominent Sri Lankan players who played in this game at the hotel they had resided in, reports say.

The coach, who was leaving after introducing the actress to the players, had been caught red handed by a former Sri Lankan player turned umpire who was also staying at the same hotel. He was also one of the umpires in the final game.

Media reports also revealed that the actress also had close links with a popular politician in the recent past.
