New regulations stating that office bearers who have been holding posts at a sports association for over 04 years cannot seek re-election is one of the hot topics.

Meanwhile, the election of the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union has drawn out towards legal action.

Lasitha Guneratne, who is contesting as the present Vice President has filed a case at the Appeal court citing that he has faced injustice.

Guneratne, who has been a Vice President of the SLRFU for the last 04 years has challenged the above mentioned new regulation.

The court case cites Sports authorities as respondents.
