The West Indies Women succeeded in defending their score of 156 when they restricted the home side to a score of 125.
At the presentation ceremony concluding the ODI series Sri Lanka Crikcet has given a special award to Shashikala Siriwardene for being the first Sri Lankan women’s cricketer to take 100 wickets and 1000 runs.
The 30 year old player, who debuted in 2003 in an ODI against West Indies at Kingstown, is currently in the possession of 1554 ODI runs and 101 wickets.
