A team of investigators visited SLC on May 14, but found files pertaining to several transactions missing, say police sources.

Former sports minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage and former secretary of SLC are accused over these wrongdoings.

Had the investigations begun much earlier, these files could have been saved, sources say.
