Challenge is not winning but finishing

Challenge is not winning but finishing Featured

Have you ever thought about entering a race, but ultimately decided it was too easy? Ever wished that boring 10k could be livened up by nightstick-wielding ninjas? Or maybe barbed wire? Or mud? Or parkour-style challenges? Or more mud?

If so, then you might be an ideal candidate for the BeliK Race, a competition that was held Sunday in a small town in Guadalajara, Spain. Over the course of a 10-kilometer (6-mile) track, more than 300 athletes scaled fences, clambered through pipes and crawled through trenches.

Best of all for the aspiring, deeply masochistic contestants, racers have no knowledge of what the obstacle course might have in store for them before the starting gun goes off. So they just have to prepare for anything.

Below are some spectacular images from the 10k race. Sorry, but comparatively, your latest marathon look like child's play.
