Sri Lanka Cricket has showed the first signs of ditching its airline SriLankan Airlines and switching on to Mihin Air which is headed by its secretary Nishantha Ranatunga, srlankamirror learns.

As a first step Sri Lanka Cricket has decided that apart from the National team all other teams and personnel must purchase their tickets from Mihin Air beginning with the Sri Lanka women's team tour of the UAE for a series against Pakistan starting this week.

Interestingly the head of SriLankan Airlines is Nishantha Wickremasinghe who is the brother of the President's wife Shiranthi Rajapaksa.
