Players in Zimbabwe tour squad can't play in BPL - Sanath Featured

Members of the squad for the triangular series in Zimbabwe cannot play in the Bangladesh premier league (BPL), said chief selector Sanath Jayasuriya.

The tri-series also involving West Indies starts in Harare on November 14.

Jayasuriya has told the media that Sri Lanka Cricket has not inquired from him about issuing the NoC certificate for those who play in the BPL.

Mahela Jayawardena, Kumar Sangakkara and 13 Sri Lankan cricketers are due to take part in the 2016 BPL.

The others are Seekkuge Prasanna, Dilshan Munaweera, Chaturanga de Silva, Jeevan Mendis, Thissara Perera, Nuwan Kulasekara, Dasun Shanaka, Sachitra Senanayake, Gihan Rupasinghe, Milinda Siriwardena and Upul Tharanga.
