It is said that a former minister of Sports is linked to this racket as well.

Another person connected is widely addressed as  'Thel Bala' by SLC employees after it was revealed that he used to siphon fuel from SLC vehicles to his own vehicle.

The other manager is said to be a person who had allegedly leaked internal news of the SLC to an English newspaper in the recent past.

The news was leaked as the sports editor of the publication was a school mate of the said manager, reports say.
