Despite the existence of a HR manager, a 70-yr old has been recruited for the post of HR advisor positioned above the HR manager, for a monthly salary of Rs. 150,000/=. Despite being given a transport allowance Rs. 40,000/= he is also provided a separate vehicle by the SLC.

Also, an individual still working at the Bank of Ceylon has been appointed the chairman of the SLC development department. He too, receives transport to the bank and to home.

Although an advisory post offering monthly salary of Rs. 150,000 has being given to a secretary related to the political affairs of SLC chairman - Thilanga Sumathipala, sources from the SLC say that they have no clue what this 'advisor' is tasked with.

Meanwhile, it is also said that a secretary is to be recruited for the above mentioned HR advisor and the candidate is a former SLC employee.

Another has been appointed to oversee the activities of the Dambulla Stadium and district associations. This individual too, enjoys transport perks and is also functioning as a CEO of an institution which has links to Sumathipala.

It is also said that a lady who had voted for the present administration ignoring the will of her Sports Club at the Cricket elections, is to receive a position with similar perks.
