The Prime Minister was accompanied by his wife Prof. Maithree Wickremesinghe and ministers Nimal Siripala de Silva, Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Rauff Hakeem, Sajith Premadasa and Malik Samarawickrama.

The Prime minister is to hold several high profile meetings during his visit and several agreements including those pertaining to the fields of investment, economy, technology, tourism, finance and irrigation are to be signed.
