He was responding to a question raised by a journalist at a media briefing at his ministry yesterday (30).

Gotabhaya is a person talented in administration and he played a big role to end the war, said Dissanayake.

He denied having any part in moves to bring Gotabhaya to a top SLFP position.

Dissanayake said that he was not capable of doing such a thing, adding that if he had that much of ability, he would have become the country’s president.
