Speaking to 'Sri Lanka Mirror', Ketagoda said that he would join the government this afternoon and would continue to appear on behalf of Fonseka's political and personal rights.
Ketagoda added that he had taken up a number of issues with the President, including restoring Fonseka's civic rights, obtaining judicial relief for Fonseka and his son-in-law - Danuna Tillakaratne and unfreeezing Fonseka's suspended bank accounts.
Meanwhile, political sources say that a prominent opposition politician is also to crossover to the government after nominations for the Presidential election are handed over today (08).
