Late veteran journalist, who was not only an innovative journalist and magazine editor but also an unusual film critic and cultural commentator,is to be commemorated and his work to be appreciated at an special event scheduled to be held on 31st March.
The event is to be organized by the Department of Government Information.
Minister Sarath Amunugama is to give a speech appreciating the work of Gamini Wijetunge at the event.
Minister of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media Gayantha Karunathilaka and deputy minister Karunarathna Paranawithana are to attend the event as the chief guests.
