He has now fully recovered after undergoing bypass surgery at Mt. Elizabeth Hospital, say its doctors.

He was taken to the Singapore hospital on February 19 after suddenly taking ill.

Soon after his return, Senaratne will be back at his political and ministry activities, said the ministry.
